By Jennifer Stuart Pongu Pongu is a quick service snack location in Pandora in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Meaning “Party Party” in the language of the Na’vi, the focus is on drinks and snacks, but there are also several good breakfast options when visiting Pandora in the morning. French Toast Sticks are a popular, lighter breakfast option that is definitely a kid-pleaser. The sticks are fried french toast sticks that are covered in cinnamon and sugar. They come with a cup of syrup that you could pour over the french toast or - our choice - use like a cup of dipping sauce. This isn't a big portion but is definitely enough for a child or as a snack style breakfast. Pongu Lumpia is a pineapple cream cheese spring roll. The outside is crispy and not at all greasy. There is a good amount of filling and it is warm rather than hot. This was one of our favourites! I wouldn't have thought about these two flavours together but they work really well for a flavourful and not overly sweet breakfast. I could easily eat a couple of these at a sitting. Pongu Lumpia are available all day long. The sausage and egg breakfast biscuit is a take on the ever popular breakfast sandwich. It is egg and a sausage patty on a soft biscuit bun. This is definitely the most substantial and filling of the options at Pongu Pongu. The most popular item at Pongu Pongu is the Night Blossom. It is a slushy drink made of layers of apple and desert pear limeade topped with passion fruit boba balls. This is a very sweet drink that still manages to be refreshing and is perfect for any time of the day. This was a huge hit with the whole family and we ended up getting several during the day. The passion fruit boba balls are much lighter and pop more easily than a traditional bubble tea tapioca ball. You can also order a Rum Blossom, which is the same drink with Bacardi Superior Rum added.
