By Jennifer Stuart It was only a short while ago that the first Starbucks location opened in Downtown Disney. Then in what was a surprise move to some Starbucks took over locations inside both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. There are now 4 locations for you to get your Starbucks fix both in and out of the parks. Read on for all the information you need to know about Starbucks at Disneyland. Disneyland --- The Market HouseThis is the location inside Disneyland itself. Right on Main Street USA about halfway between the train station and the castle. This is a very busy location at any time of the day but the line does move surprisingly quickly. Expect to find all your Starbucks favourites as well as some special Disney baked goods. Seating inside is limited and is located in the attached "Book Rest" (you can only access this area from the Market House, not from the street). On a nice day, however, enjoying your beverage while walking down Main Street or sitting on a bench looking at the castle is the way to go. Annual Passholder discounts available. This is a somewhat controversial location as many long time Disneyland fans mourned the changes to the old Market House. One of the secrets that remained is this old "party line" phone. Pick up the receiver and listen into the conversation. Disney California Adventure --- Fiddler, Fife and Practical CafeThis is the location inside Disney California Adventure. It is a short distance inside the park gates on Buena Vista Street as you walk towards Grizzly Peak. This location always has a line but it seems to move quickly. There is lots of indoor seating which is great in all seasons as well as some small cafe style tables and chairs outside that are popular on sunny days. Expect all your regular Starbucks goodies as well as some Disney themed ones. Annual Passholder Discounts available. Also right next door (attached inside) is Clarabelle's Hand Scooped Ice Cream and Trolley Treats for even more Disney goodies to go with your drink or to take home. Downtown Disneyland --- East LocationThe original Downtown Disney location is a VERY busy spot first thing in the morning and maintains a pretty steady crowd for most of the day. This is a spacious location and has some space inside for the kids while you are waiting for your order. This location is the closest one to the gates if you have taken the Tram in from Mickey and Friends Parking Lot or if you are waiting for the Park to open. It opens at 5am most mornings. This is a typical Starbucks location so expect all your usual favourites. The line does get long but moves fairly quickly and remember that you can do mobile order through the app at this location. Downtown Disneyland --- West Location------Update------ This location (although the newest) was slated to close June 2018 as part of the redevelopment of Downtown Disney to make way for the construction of a new Disney Hotel but was re-opened when those plans fell through. This is the newest Starbucks location and opened to help offset the huge demand, especially in the mornings. You will find this location just past the security bag checks at the western end of Downtown Disney. This is the closest location to the Disneyland Hotel and across the walkway from the monorail station (next to the Lego store). Look for all your usual Starbucks favourites here. The Downtown Disney locations are also open late and can be a great stop for a warm drink on the way back to you car or hotel. (We find it chilly some nights when the wind picks up and we are staying late). IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
You Are Here MugsIf you are a collector of the popular You Are Here Mugs you can only get the Los Angeles mugs at the Downtown Disneyland locations. Special Disneyland and Disney California Adventure mugs are ONLY available inside the parks. These created quite the sensation when they first became available and were flying off the shelves as fast as cast members could put them out. Also look for Disney Parks themed tumblers and cups.
